We require our customers to meet the following general requirements:
You must have a current, valid U.S. or State or International drivers license. All drivers must have a clean driving record with no DUI's, major moving violations, or similar infractions.
You must be at least 25 years of age to rent.
You must agree not to allow anyone other than yourself or other authorized renters under your rental agreement to operate your rental slingshot.
You must agree not to perform stunts of any kind on your rental roadster/autocycle including but not limited to, drifting or burnouts.
You must agree not to drive or use rental vehicle on any gravel, dirt, mud, lava or off-road.
We reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and retake possession of the slingshot in response to a violation of any of the foregoing.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the security deposit handled?
We ask for a minimum of $1000 deposit on all Slingshot rentals which is due at the time of the delivery of the slingshot. Once the slingshot is returned damage free, in the same condition as when picked up, the pre-authorization or deposit will be released.
Do I need a motorcycle license?
Nope! All you need is valid U.S. or State or International drivers license. The Slingshot is classified as an Auto-Cycle, so no special license is needed in California.
Do you have automatic or manual Slingshots?
Our Slingshots have automatic transmissions.
Do I need to fill up the gas tank before returning?
No we don’t require the Slingshot(s) to be returned full of gas. We will refuel ourselves.
How many miles can I go in the Slingshot?
Unlimited miles as long as you keep it within a 150 mile radius of our facility.
What if I'm late returning my Slingshot rental?
We allow a 15 minute grace period. Beyond the 15 min grace period, late returns are $100 per hour. After 15 min., we will round up to the nearest hour to calculate the late fee. Please note all of the extra charges and applicable fees will be charged on renter's credit card on file.
